Deliveroo Delivers Relevant and Hyperlocal Advertising with Ad-Lib.io

Ad-Lib.io | December 06, 2021

Deliveroo-Delivers-Relevant
-Deliveroo, a leading online food delivery company in Europe and Asia, and Ad-Lib.io, the next-generation Creative Management Platform (CMP) for leading enterprise brands seeking to ensure advertising relevance at scale, announced today a continued partnership to support Deliveroo’s fast-growing reach with hyperlocal advertising execution that can be delivered at scale. By leveraging real-time data specific to the restaurants and demographics of each delivery zone, in combination with Ad-Lib.io’s Fix and Flex™ Creative Concept management, Deliveroo has shortened time-to-market from 2-3 days to just a matter of minutes while ensuring highly relevant advertising for each zone in every global market they serve.

According to McKinsey, mature food delivery markets, including the United Kingdom and Australia, have exponentially grown 4 to 7x since 2018. However, with this growth comes an expectation for increased geographic competition that will drive a greater need for advertising as services compete for local customers. With the Ad-Lib.io platform, Deliveroo has been able to augment paid social with display advertising to serve 30% more impressions in priority zones, and to achieve a CTR that is 2870% better than benchmarks thanks to dynamic templates.

“In the eight years since our founding, Deliveroo has grown to serve 7.8 million consumers in 800 locales across 11 global markets,” said Dean Weaving, Head of Display, Video and Paid Social for Deliveroo. “Our hyperlocal marketing strategy has been instrumental to our success, and Ad-Lib.io is a key partner in helping us scale our reach and creative effectiveness in record time. We look forward to continuing our work with them to bring the same relevant, on-target advertising to a multitude of highly differentiated localities.”

“Deliveroo has moved quickly to deliver incredible convenience to consumers, especially when local communities struggled to adapt their sources of food during the pandemic. Today, over 72% of the population of the United Kingdom is covered by their services,” said Adit Abyankhar, CEO of Ad-Lib.io. “We are honoured to have contributed to the speed and efficiency with which they have reached target localities with relevant advertising to grow their brand.”

Pixalate Launches COPPA Compliance Toolkit for Child-Directed CTV Apps on Roku and Amazon Fire TV Stores

Pixalate | January 17, 2023

Pixalate, which is an analytics platform for fraud protection, privacy, and compliance for connected TV (CTV) and mobile advertising, has released a compliance toolkit for CTV to find and evaluate child-directed apps in the Roku and Amazon Fire TV app stores. The toolkit is designed to enable Pixalate's customers to identify, review, and assess child-directed apps that run on Roku and Amazon Fire TV in order to ensure compliance with relevant laws such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The Pixalate Trust and Safety Advisory Board, which is made up of qualified educators and led by a former FTC enforcer, looks at apps through the lens of the COPPA Rule to see if they are aimed at children. Pixalate's new toolkit gives brands, ad networks, and agencies the ability to accurately find and label apps that are made for kids. Allison Lefrak, Pixalate's senior vice president of public policy, advertising privacy, and COPPA compliance, said, "As advertisers are focusing more on programmatic Connected TV inventory, it is important for them to keep in mind that COPPA also applies in the CTV space." She further added, "Identifying which apps are child-directed and whether they are potentially risky from a COPPA compliance standpoint is crucial in avoiding hefty penalties." These manual reviews are blended with AI to assign a COPPA violation risk to over 50,000 Roku and Amazon Fire CTV apps. If a publisher or advertiser knows that a CTV app is aimed at children, they must follow COPPA, which includes getting permission from the child's parents before collecting and/or sharing personal information. About Pixalate Pixalate is the market-leading platform for fraud protection, privacy, and compliance analytics for connected TV (CTV) and mobile advertising. We work around the clock to protect your reputation and increase your media value. Pixalate is the only company that offers coordinated solutions for detecting and getting rid of ad fraud across display, app, video, and CTV. Pixalate's marketing compliance solutions include the industry's first COPPA compliance technology, which is designed to identify potential child-directed apps and online privacy compliance risks. Pixalate is an MRC-accredited service that detects and filters sophisticated invalid traffic (SIVT) on desktop and mobile web, mobile in-app, and CTV advertising.

Identity Resolution and Contextual Targeting Rank Highest Priority in Newly Released Publisher Study from InMobi Publisher Insight Survey

Business Wire | March 30, 2023

InMobi, a leading provider of content, monetization and marketing technologies that help businesses fuel growth, released a Publisher Insights Study to better understand publishers’ priorities in the ever-evolving landscape with 65% of respondents saying their key focus area for 2023 is identity resolution and contextual targeting. With Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) in place and Google’s Android Privacy Sandbox on the horizon, the need for a ‘single view’ of the customer is paramount for publishers and advertisers alike. Publishers are seeking identity resolution functionalities to create targetable profiles that they can monetize. Publishers also prefer contextual targeting over behavioural targeting to offer advertisers relevant audiences without relying on an identifier. Closely tied to identity, audience insights and data enrichment are also key focus areas for publishers with more than 75% of respondents rating them their highest priority. As publishers now have greater control over first-party data, they are keen to monetize their audiences and unlock new audience segments by enriching their first-party data with the scale of third-party data to create a larger potential pool. Publishers also plan to prioritize user acquisition, cross-app promotions as well as new and unique formats in 2023, with over 50% of respondents rating those as their top focus areas. Unique ad formats include native ads and app-open ads (launched by Google). “Beyond ad monetization, publishers are looking for features to help them understand and unlock the potential of their user data in a privacy-first universe,” says Todd Rose, Senior Vice President of Addressability Solutions at InMobi. “This will help them better navigate the ever-changing ad tech and consumer privacy landscape.” About InMobi InMobi is a leading provider of marketing and monetization technologies. With deep expertise and unique reach in mobile, it is a trusted and transparent technology partner for marketers, content creators and businesses of all kinds.
