Alfa Romeo | October 25, 2021

  • Alfa Romeo presents the first global advertising campaign, "Near Life Experience," at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, October 24
  • Campaign launches across Alfa Romeo social media channels on Friday, October 22

Alfa Romeo is introducing its first global advertising campaign, "Near Life Experience," at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, October 24. "Near Life Experience" will premiere in the United States with a multichannel campaign that will start on Alfa Romeo brand's social media channels beginning this Friday, October 22 and will launch worldwide later this year. "Near Life Experience" can be viewed here.

The significance of launching our 'Near Life Experience' campaign for Alfa Romeo during this weekend's U.S. Grand Prix is by design. It pays tribute to the brand's rich racing heritage that goes back as early as 1910 and to the start of Formula 1 in 1950, when Alfa Romeo was not only present, we were champions the first year, taking first place with Giuseppe Farina and the Alfetta 158. 'Near Life Experience" honors a rich automotive pedigree that continues to evolve and delivers on its exceptional promise to Alfa Romeo drivers on the road every day."

Olivier Francois, global chief marketing officer, Stellantis.

The "Near Life Experience" campaign interprets new values and the ambition of Alfa Romeo, yet reminds "Alfistas" that Alfa Romeo vehicles are designed with a premium placed on both driving and emotion. Driving an Alfa Romeo is a uniquely emotional experience that makes the driver feel something extraordinary, delivering a profound experience for the senses. It's the culmination of all the feelings, emotions and sights, coming together to form a moment as close to perfect as humanly possible.

"For Alfa Romeo, the 'Near Life Experience' campaign is a very big step toward its future as a premium global brand," said Jean-Phillippe Imparato, chief executive officer, Alfa Romeo. "While remaining true to the brand's DNA, the epitome of Italian noble sportiness since 1910, this video speaks of its daring attitude and its unique ability to provide its customers with a visceral experience. This is the first time we're using a single language all over the world, a direct message to everyone who shares Alfa Romeo's values."

As part of the campaign, Alfa Romeo is also introducing the #AlfaRomeoExperience hashtag, giving Alfistas the opportunity to share their own near-life experiences across the brand's social media channels.

This campaign was developed by TRG (The Richards Group), an independent agency in Dallas, and directed by Salomon Ligthelm. The director of photography, Daniel Bouquet, previously worked on "Sound of Metal," which was nominated for a 2021 Academy® Award. The soundtrack consists of Flavio Ibba's arrangement of Vltava (The Moldau) from Smetana's Má vlast (My Country).

IAS Partners with Gadsme to Provide Greater Transparency for In-Game Advertising Performance

Integral Ad Science | December 16, 2022

Integral Ad Science, a global leader in digital media quality, today announced a first-to-market partnership with Gadsme, a premium in-game advertising platform. The partnership will enable IAS to verify Gadsme ad inventory globally and provide marketers with third-party viewability and invalid traffic measurement (IVT) through the IAS Signal platform. "As the global in-game advertising market continues to grow, we are excited to partner with Gadsme to further develop campaign measurability and performance in gaming environments," said Tom Sharma, Chief Product Officer of IAS. "This partnership creates a new level of transparency for marketers and will ensure confidence that they are engaging real users and driving outcomes." In-game environments have posed various challenges for verification measurement, including multiple device types and platforms, which make it difficult to use a single tech suite for verification coverage. IAS's solution combats this issue by enabling marketers to validate that impressions are fraud-free, verify their campaigns reach real people, and equip them with critical campaign insights. All media quality measurements for in-game ads are reported through the IAS Signal platform and include mobile and web browsing campaigns. "This announcement further solidifies Gadsme as a transformative tech leader for the gaming ad industry specifically in 3D environments. Gadsme's non-intrusive video, display, and audio ad formats enable publishers to monetize their games without interrupting a player's experience. This is hugely advantageous to global brands and helps advertisers reach their target audience in a safe and ideal environment. Gadsme is proud to partner with IAS to deliver greater transparency for our inventory, and to help drive in-game advertising forward," Simon Spaull, Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder at Gadsme. IAS is expanding integrations with gaming partners to provide greater transparency into advertising performance. IAS will continue to address verification measurement across the broader in-game advertising landscape to provide advertisers coverage where it counts. IAS Case Study Reveals In-View Ads Tripled the Return on Ad Spend Compared to Not-In-View Placements

Integral Ad Science | November 23, 2022

Integral Ad Science (Nasdaq: IAS), a global leader in digital media quality, today published a case study conducted in partnership with Catalina, a leader in shopper intelligence that personalizes the shopper journey. The study aimed to understand how media quality influences return on ad spend (ROAS) and sales lift in correlation to in-view advertisements and time-in-view. The measurement period was recorded from May to July 2022. To measure sales for a major CPG brand through the use of display advertisements in both mobile and desktop environments, Catalina used a test versus control methodology to calculate campaign sales lift. The test group consisted of 14.6M households that were exposed to the promoted brand campaign. Some of the key takeaways from this study include: 180% lift in incremental ROAS for the in-view group versus not-in-view. In-view ads have a massive impact on ROAS compared to those that do not meet viewability standards. 74% of incremental sales from the test campaign were driven by the in-view audience. IAS and Catalina broke the test group into an in-view and not-in-view decomposition. Incremental sales from the in-view ads drove higher sales lift and incremental sales compared to ads that are not in view. 3 to 10 seconds is the ideal time-in-view range for driving incremental sales. Advertisements that were in view for 3-10 seconds outperformed both shorter and longer time-in-view rates with an incremental index of 118. This insight further highlights the strong correlation between time-in-view as a proxy to attention that drives key outcomes. This drove sales and directly impacted ROAS. “As a leader in personalization and shopper intelligence, Catalina has been partnering with brands and retailers for a long time to understand the value of media as it relates to consumer responsiveness, purchase activity, incremental sales and ROAS, both in-flight and post-campaign,” said Brian Dunphy, SVP of Strategic Partnerships at Catalina. “Through our partnership with IAS, we are thrilled to jointly help CPG brands and agencies get the most out of their media investments by combining IAS’s industry leading media quality capabilities with Catalina’s ROAS and sales lift analyses to deliver deeper insights around overall media quality, viewability and time-in-view.” “While viewability is an important metric, metrics such as time in view can be even more precise indicators of attention and outcomes,” said Yannis Dosios, Chief Commercial Officer, IAS. “While viewability is an important metric, metrics such as time in view can be even more precise indicators of attention and outcomes. What is powerful with this study is we see a clear link between time in view and in-store sales: a direct impact on better outcomes. By partnering with measurement companies like Catalina, we can better understand the importance and impact of media quality on driving attention and outcomes for our clients,” said Yannis Dosios, Chief Commercial Officer, IAS.
