Sila Empowers dash.fi to Offer E-commerce Brands a Unique Charge Card for Their Multi-Million Dollar Ad Spend

Sila Inc., a fintech software platform that provides payment infrastructure as a service, today announced that it partnered with dash.fi, a vertical fintech company serving the multi-million digital advertising industry, to create the first charge card purpose-built for advertisers. Close to $500 billion dollars are currently spent on digital ads globally every year. That number grew by 30% in 2020 and 25% in 2021. In partnering with Sila’s payment technology, dash.fi has designed its next-day-settle charge card to meet the specific operational and liquidity needs of e-commerce merchants that spend millions on marketing.

Roku & Walmart Sign an Exclusive Shoppable Ad Deal

Roku, Walmart | June 17, 2022

Walmart and Roku have entered an exclusive ad agreement. Roku viewers can use their Roku remotes and stored payment information to buy products directly from the retailer’s ads on the platform. They won’t be redirected to Walmart’s website or need to capture QR codes on their phones to complete orders while watching their favorite shows. Executives from both companies declined to provide details on payment terms or revenue sharing. “Walmart is the exclusive retail partner today,” Hamilton said, “and we plan to begin testing with other brands that sell through Walmart later in the year. So, as it stands, this is an exclusive partnership.” This is a first-of-its-kind partnership between a retailer and a streaming platform. Hamilton went on to say that the ease of making purchases using a Roku remote eases the process of scanning QR codes to get to a website to complete purchases on mobile devices. This deal gives an upper hand to Walmart to compete with Amazon Prime, a major online retail and streaming platform. William White said, “There’s a tremendous runway in terms of how this can continue to evolve. Walmart was the first to market with shoppablelivestreams on TikTok, Twitter andYoutube. We were the first to market with shoppable recipes on Pinterest and first to market withTwitter native checkout.And I think it’s a natural evolution for us to move into TV.”

Tremor International, an Israeli adtech platform, has set terms for a $150 million US IPO

Tremor International, which offers a platform that automates digital ad transactions for advertisers and publishers, announced the terms of its initial public offering (IPO) on Monday. The Tel Aviv, Israel-based company, intends to raise $150 million by selling 6.8 million ADSs at the as-converted June 11th closure of its shares on the London AIM market at $22.17 a share (TRMR). Tremor International would have a fully diluted market value of $1.7 billion at the proposed transaction size. Tremor International allows advertisers to target relevant audiences and publishers to optimize the yield on their digital advertising inventory. The firm provides an end-to-end platform that includes three primary offerings: a demand-side platform (DSP) for advertisers, a supply-side platform (SSP) for publishers, and a data management platform (DMP) for both. In addition, the firm offers an omnichannel platform but focuses on video advertisements on all devices and Connected TVs. As of March 31, 2021, Tremor has 900 active clients and 1,450 active publishers. Tremor International was created in 2007 and has sales of $244 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021. It intends to trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker name TRMR. The deal's joint bookrunners are RBC Capital Markets, Stifel, JMP Securities, Needham & Co., and Raymond James. It is expected to price during the week of June 14, 2021.
