Former BHS shop in Preston could see advertising along its hoardings

The former entrance to a department store in Preston’s high street looks set to become advertising hoardings. Preston City Council ordered Freemont Limited, who act on behalf of the owners of the BHS store in Fishergate, to board up the doorways after they were regularly used by rough sleepers. Freemont, owned by the Bhailok group, say the boards could soon see advertising along them. An email seen by Blog Preston has been sent to local businesses and agents who might be interested.
It states, on behalf of the Bhailok group: “Please confirm if you are interested in placing advertising hoardings or other forms of advertising on this frontage which as advised is a prime position in Fishergate in Preston city center. “Please note that this is the most prime position in the whole of Preston as it is opposite to the main shopping center St George’s shopping center and directly opposite Marks and Spencer.”
