Google rebrands AdWords scripts into Google Ads scripts
January 08, 2019 / Pay-Per-Click
Since last week, Adwords scripts are now named Google Ads scripts. Google says that with the rebranding, there was a renaming of AdWordsApp and MccApp within the scripts themselves to reflect the new naming. Mike Cloonan, working at Google Ads scripts Team, says “existing scripts are not affected and will continue to run as they always have.” Going forward, Google says advertisers should use AdsApp instead of AdWordsApp. Similarly, advertisers should use AdsManagerApp instead of MccApp. The documentation, samples, and solutions are being updated by Google.
